       Company Health, Safety and Environmental

                        Management Policy

 

Doug Tremblay's Precision Services (DTPSL) is committed to a strong health and safety program that protects it's staff, it's property and the public from accidents.

 

To meet this commitment, Management will provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with Alberta Workplace Health and Safety Legislation. Management supports co-ordination of safety among all workers on the job site and expects participation in the program by all employees. Management will provide proper equipment, training and appropriate safe work practices and job procedures.

 

Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and accountable for the company's overall safety initiatives. Each employee is responsible for working safely with equal concern for the safety of all co-workers, and for following approved safe work practices and job procedures. Employees will be expected to comply with and know the Alberta Workplace Health and Safety Regulations that apply to their job and whenever possible, improve safety measures.

 

Contractors are considered employees of Precision and must meet the requirements as such.

 

Visitors are responsible for following all company policies and procedures, and carrying out their duties in a safe manner.

 

We will continually strive to provide a healthy and safe workplace for all our staff. With participation and cooperation from all levels of the organization, we will meet this goal.

 

At Precision the proper safeguard of our environment is important to our organization. While doing our work, we shall consider the appropriate protection of humans, animals, plant life, air, water and soil. We expect all persons to do their best to prevent harm to the environment.

 

We shall use, store and dispose of products in such a manner that will provide appropriate protection to the environment.

 

Management will develop and enforce good environmental standards in accordance with relevant legislation.

 

Workers will be kept informed on how to do their jobs in such a manner as to cause minimum environmental harm and waste materials.

 

Where possible, we shall recycle and promote the use of recycled products.
